Mayhem Soaka & Playground: Photo OP

Mayhem Soak & Playground needed a branded stage where guests would want to take photos and post them. It had to match the event’s playful, wet-and-wild energy and work in full daylight.

The structure had to read as “Mayhem” from across an outdoor venue in harsh sun, survive a soaking-wet environment, and still look as bright in phone photos as it did in the design.

A trussed stage wrapped in a loud tropical palette: hot pink and purple overhead, yellow columns, and a canopy of oversized leaves along the top edge. The Mayhem logo is repeated at the crown, on cut-out flip-flop shapes on each column, across the backdrop and as a floor graphic, so every camera angle catches the brand. The backdrop’s toucan, macaw and pool-float flamingo set the vacation tone, and the hanging swing seat gives guests an obvious place to pose. The whole set was visualized in 3D from several angles so the client could approve it before production.
