Tropical Saturday: Entrance & Photo Experience
- Industry
- Events & Entertainment
01The brief
Tropical Saturday needed an entrance that announced the event’s theme the moment guests arrived. It also had to give them a spot they’d want to photograph and post.
02The challenge
The event’s branding includes a crossed-out “Fridayz” replaced by “Saturday,” and the entrance had to carry that look clearly from across a dark field at night. The whole structure also had to be practical to build and set up on site.
03The idea
A giant starburst frame clad in wood-grain panels, outlined in bright yellow with teal geometric accents, with the Tropical Saturday logo at its crown. Guests walk through the arch into a photo set lined with potted palms: a wood-plank backdrop and floor print in tropical leaves, the logo repeated on the wall and the floor, and a single lounge chair as the photo seat. Every element was visualized in 3D, in both daytime and night views, so the client could approve the look before anything was cut.
